NO.5 in the Zealand cup

Now the triathlon season year 2004 has ended and what a year, lots of competetion and even more training. I had a few enjuries but I learned my lesson, expensive experiences but some valuable ones!!!! I ended as no. 5 in the zealand cup wich made it worth all the effort. I only won one medal if I dont count the race where everybody got one, it was a third price in triathlon on the bulls neck and i´m proud of it even though it is "only" a bottle of wine.
After packing away my tri-bike I dug out the mountain-bike from its summer hibernate, and it will soon be seen in the forest racing and on the hills climbing. Soon the craft cup cross-duathlon is starting and the plan is to compete on the short distance.

Ishoej triathlon 400-20-6,2. Worst weather ever for 30 min. after that just showers. This was ALOT´s club championship and I was 16 sec. after no. 1, so no medals for me but congratulations to Jan and Karina they really fought for it and deserved it. So here is my tribute to the two ALOT champions

Frederiksund openwater triathlon, 400-19-5. Good weather and good competetion, it was a hard swim and a fast bike ride but a very hard run. See pictures

4 Girls from my club ALOT went to the biggest triatlon for women in northern Europe, just around the corner from our appartment. Karin finished no. 33 in 01:09:07, Marianne no. 36 in 01:09:30, Leanne no. 87 01:12:54 and Karina no. 161 in 01:16:04. Well done girls, see pictures

My first long distance triathlon was today in Hillerod tri on gold distance, 1000m swim, 77,5 km bike and 20 km run. The weather was ok but it was very windy, I finished number 8 overall and 2 in agegroup wich was very satisfying. Please see the pictures

My first longer distance triathlon was today, and my first competition since the beginning of the rehabilitation of my bad foot!!!! My foot is getting better and I can run 10km without pain now, a big improvement thanks to Maria at Albfys. I finished number 9 wich was very satisfying even though I came 3 sec. after Finn Gronskov my worst competitor in this race, and the swim was shortened by the first swimmers. The pictures wont be on before tomorrow!!!

My all tim favorite triathlete Thorbjorn Sindballe won the long distance world championship held in Sater, Sweden
Lisbeth Kristensen got a second place, wich is very good, congratulations with the positions.
